For the Danish Pioneers
Who set out in by-gone years,
To this land, in faith, who came,
Lord of all, we bless Thy name.
For their courage, tireless toil,
In the forest, on the soil,
For their living trust in Thee,
To Thy name all glory be.
For their dreams, the plans they made,
For the firm foundations laid,
For the homes which here they raised,
Lord of all, Thy name be praised.
For their blessed memory,
Those who lived and died in Thee,
From their labours laid to rest,
May Thy holy name be blessed.
Now with thankful hymn we raise,
For Thy grace in by-gone days,
May the years that are to be,
